Summer Student Programme
BELCO provides College and University students the opportunity to participate in our Summer Student Programme, which was established to provide students with:
- The opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s productivity. The exposure to learn new things. A chance to gain valuable experience. An opportunity to position themselves as shining stars for future employment with the company.
- BELCO provides opportunities for students to work in numerous areas throughout the organisation. Each student is placed in a Business Centre that best suits their current field of study.
BELCO participates in the Liberty Group’s accredited Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS), which supports Engineers-in-Training (EITs) as they work towards their Chartered Engineer Designation (CEng). Liberty is the only company in Bermuda to have such an accredited programme for graduate engineers, which is essential in ensuring that Bermuda continues to have local engineering expertise to support the island’s energy future.
