Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (BELCO) has restored all customers who lost power as a result of Hurricane Earl.
At the height of the storm, BELCO had approximately 1,500 customers without power and as of 6:30 pm, power had been restored to all customers.
BELCO President Wayne Caines said: “I would like to thank our valued customers for their patience and understanding as our crews worked to restore power outages resulting from Hurricane Earl. Let me also thank our dedicated field crews who have been working tirelessly before, during and after the storm to repair damage caused by high winds and trees and foliage impacting our transmission wires. The 2022 storm season is now at its peak and I urge residents to be prepared. Our team at BELCO will be ready should any more storms impact us this year.”
